John William Waterhouse
John William Waterhouse (1849 - 1917), English painter in the style of the Pre-Raphaelite school. Despite working several decades after the Pre-Raphaelites Waterhouse embraced this style and also borrowed themes for his painting from Greek mythology and Arthurian legend. One of his most popular paintings has always been Lady of Shallot which is based on poem by Tennyson, this is available as a good quality poster imported from Europe. The other Waterhouse prints in stock at NZ Fine Prints are imported from Italy. They are very good prints of the original paintings with extremely good colour fidelity.
