Update: Sold Out. Kotuku, the white heron. An extremely rare bird breeding in NZ only on the banks of the Waitangituna Stream close to Okarito Lagoon in South Westland. Shane’s superb largeprint of the Kotuku is inspired by the following poem (Piopiotahi is the Maori name for the area renamed “Milford Sound” by European explorers). “It is he, the white spirit, translucent in the ancient mist. It is he, the white spirit, handsome in the dazzling sun. It is he, the white spirit, watching over piopiotahi. It is he, the white spirit, it is he.”
