Limited edition 5-colour screen print on BLACK Canson fine art paper (archival 250gsm). Scoundrel 1.3 BV depicts Harrison Ford as Han Solo from the original Star Wars film. From the Star Wars Databank “Smuggler. Scoundrel. Hero. Han Solo, captain of the Millennium Falcon, was one of the great leaders of the Rebel Alliance. He and his co-pilot Chewbacca came to believe in the cause of galactic freedom, joining Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia Organa in the fight against the Empire.” This print is one of a series of “New Blood Pop” artworks that are based on Novak’s expression of pop art being art that is “‘transient, glamorous, expendable, sexy, and popular”.
