Clear winter day looking across Lake Wanaka to a snow clad Treble Cone, as Kate says "I look out onto Treble Cone everyday from my studio window."!   Kate told us that "I raced down to the lakeside with my camera the first cloudless day we got after a huge snowfall. There is a 2 hour window in the afternoon where the sun hits the snow at the perfect angle, creating a beautiful contrast between bright white highlights and icy blue shadows. I then worked from the photos back in the studio - but it's handy being able to reference back to the real thing out the window!".
