Paul Ny

Paul Ny (1973 - ), contemporary NZ artist whose retro style pin-up posters are now available printed on canvas and fine art paper. Paul completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts at the Ilam School of Fine Arts in Christchurch in 1995. He went on to paint numerous public murals throughout NZ, he has also worked as a scenic artist for film and television, recently working on movies such as Lord of Rings and King Kong. These nostalgic illustrative works are inspired by pin-ups and vintage NZ advertising posters, the kinds of poster designs that feature in our vintage posters collection.
