Engraved by S. Smith, this print is based on an episode from Sismondi's "History of the Italian Republics".  Shows the Carrara family fleeing Padua to the safety of Florence after being deposed by the Duke of Milan.  In good condition for its age with only very minor foxing and slight marks on the border.
