Modern large wall poster, a careful re-print of the authentic poster design imported by New Zealand Fine Prints. From the cover of the Ziggy Stardust album, David Bowie photographed by Brian Ward in January 1972 in Heddon St, London. Ward said Bowie "was was playing on this man from Mars thing. He wanted to come over like a real stranger, like a science fiction movie", and Bowie had requested a "Brooklyn alley scene" - which the photographer recreated just outside his Heddon Street studio on a cold and raining night.
