Re-print of a vintage New Zealand botanical illustration of Dysoxylum spectabile or Kohekohe printed onto Tintoretto watercolour paper stock. This painting was one of many highly accurate scientific specimen illustrations of NZ flora from Featon’s Art Album of New Zealand Flora. This tree is sometimes known as New Zealand mahogany for its reddish brown timber.
