Clear winter day looking across Lake Wanaka to a snow clad Black Peak. Digital print on watercolour paper. "Black Peak is such a distinctive mountain" writes Kate, "and here I captured it on a cloudless winter day, in the early afternoon sun. I worked from photos I took down by the edge of Bremner Bay, but handily, I can also see this mountain out my studio window, so I can reference the real thing as I paint too!"
