Sam says “I use colour and scale to illustrate what is topical in my own world. I am interested in taking the viewer on a trip within the art. Bringing icons, ideas brought from everyday life onto the print, then placing them within a surreal location underlies my work... I try to explore the world with optimism raising unanswerable questions that keep the viewer both satisfied and interested”
