This print is a cool piece of modern NZ printmaking that celebrates our national game of rugby with a sport’s fan’s artwork that doesn’t have to be hidden away in the man cave. A striking black and white screenprinted image of a rugby ball, where the lacing creates a koru like motif reminiscent of op-art by the famous illusionist MC Escher. The title references the oft-used phrase when players are asked how the game went, the two halves of the game can be played with different degrees of success on the field.
