Natives is one of the new series of “Islands” paintings from NZ artist Barry Ross Smith. A marine landscape with a difference, a portrait of Aotearoa/NZ as an island teeming with seabird life above, a camouflaged huhu grub and a crab scuttling across the rocky shoreline.
