This gallery showcases the collection of antique prints for sale here at NZ's art print specialists since 1966 [the founders of New Zealand Fine Prints - Don and Enid Ellis - literally wrote the book on early NZ prints, their guide to NZ antique prints, "Early Prints of New Zealand", is the key reference work on prints that were over one hundred years old at the time of publication]. All prints marked "Antique Print" are guaranteed 100 plus years old. These are genuine antiques - not reproductions - made by traditional engraving or lithographic processes. Update: We are currently cataloging a very large selection from Don and Enid's personal collection for sale. There are thousands of prints in drawers that the next generation/s feel should be out there being appreciated rather than stored away. These prints were collected over decades and have an impeccable provenance to preserve future value.
