Titled “The City of Auckland: The Capital of New Zealand”. Originally published in 1849 this print is from the edition of 500 handnumbered prints from Avon Fine Prints in 1974. The print has numbers along the bottom edge of the image which correspond to a list below the image identifying the ships in the harbour and notable landmarks, for example No 7 "St Paul's Church".
