Black and white photograph of an American sailor kissing a young woman in Times Square, New York on August 14 1945 (Victory over Japan Day). Supplied to us as in error as a high quality photoraphic quality print in a 400 x 500mm size instead of the larger poster on lighter paper.  This print doesn't have the text "War's End Kiss" etc that is shown across the reference image which is of the poster version we previously had for sale and we supposed to receive.  Now only last 3 available. The photographer was Alfred Eisenstaedt and the image first appeared in “Life” magazine two weeks later.
