Masterpiece is Dick Frizzell’s self-portrait with Mr Foursquare. “Finished”, says the artist, “The greatest work of my life, and I’ve poured my very heart and soul into it! It’s a masterpiece, but I can’t keep it for myself, a painting such as this belongs to the world”. The design of this artwork is based on the conventions of a single “cell” of a comic strip, this print is usually framed to the edge of the border around the cell and it is these overall dimensions we give in the size of the print above. Very last one available, [Now sold out] this print was not a big enough seller to be re-printed and the publisher has advised us that it is now deleted.
