Title loosely translates as “Warrior Gods”. This very large six colour screenprint is a quite simply a masterwork by one of the most important Pacific artists of the twentieth century. Incorporating both significant themes in Feu’u’s art and motifs from his Samoan heritage Matu Atua is a key work in contemporary Pacific art.  Understandably an in demand edition, we now have the last print available for sale right now.   It is one of the super rare Printers' Proofs, a perfect print that is signed and marked P/P.  This is the first print that was made, the artist used this print to check all the colours were printing correctly, screens lined up etc.  Sold Out
