Wahine o Aroha is a skillful re-imagining of Botticelli’s painting “Birth of Venus” into a New Zealand context. This print is saying “she is my life, she is my soul, she is my wahine o aroha”. Hand finished with gold foiling. Because it is devilishly hard to photograph with the gold foil playing havoc with the lighting in our studio the reference image is not perfect, the actual print is exquisite.
