The South Island coast near Haast has native forest from the mountains right down to the sea.  The wind shaped forms of the trees are characteristic of this region as the prevailing westerley winds blows constantly from the Tasman Sea. This print of an original painting by NZ artist Diana Adams is printed on an acid free canvas that was developed especially for fine art reproduction.
