This print is the most popular of Brian Dahlberg’s series of prints. Taught by Dame Louise Henderson Dahlberg calls his style of painting “regional surrealism”. Unlike many other contemporary NZ landscape painters he includes human-made structures in his artworks, he has a a particular affinity for colonial era houses as shown in this print. All Dahlberg’s prints have extremely high production values, the paper they are printed on perfectly matches his style of painting.
