This edition from one of New Zealand's leading contemporary printmakers was completed in mid 2009 and we are nearly all the way through this edition. Lambert told us that Waiting Around is based on drawings he did of people sitting in the foyer of the "Ian Potter Art Gallery" in Melbourne. The people in this screenprint are probably students. "The very fluid line I have used in creating the image is a technique I first used in a screenprint design in 1988. I have recently come back to this style of line because of its very expressive qualities."
