This retro style New Zealand poster by Rosie Louise and Terry Moyle celebrates the famous Coral Route service from NZ's own Tasman Empire Airways Ltd (TEAL). First charted in wartime the route took passengers from Auckland to Fiji, Samoa, Tahiti and the Cook Islands in Solent flying boats. Flying was glamourous, passengers dressed in their Sunday best and when the Coral Route service ceased in 1960 it was the last scheduled international flying boat service.
