This vintage advertising poster advertising the attractions of Christchurch, New Zealand to overseas visitors was originally issued by the publicity department of the New Zealand Railways. The poster is titled “South Island: New Zealand - the Playground of the Pacific with the wonders “On the Doorstep’! The three wonders shown are captioned “Sunny Lakes”, “Mountains & Glaciers” and “Hot Springs” (presumably Hanmer Springs).
