Alison Gilmour

Alison Gilmour's passion for the sea and water stems from a childhood spent in Devonport and its surrounding beaches on the North Shore of Auckland. Gilmour trained as a graphic designer. Painting in acrylic, Gilmour captures the beauty of her surrounding environment with delicate brushwork - creating images which have a photo-realistic quality and hues which reflect the clarity and richness of the New Zealand landscape. Alison's desire is to continue painting images which depict New Zealand as "a collective nation of people, nature and beauty". High quality prints of Alison Gilmour's paintings are now available as fine art prints and also printed directly onto canvas - and of course all prints can also be purchased framed.
