Michael writes “I did a watercolour study for a print in the 1970's and this year I've made the screenprint - almost 40 years later. It wasn't easy though; an expensive first version failure revealed the need for a simple approach, and the elimination of irrelevant detail has provided this image, full of force and drama.”
