Bill Hammond (1947 - ) is one of New Zealand's most important contemporary artists. Hammond attended Ilam Art School 1966-68 and made toys before painting full-time from 1981. His famous bird paintings are inspired by Hammond's trip to the sub-Antartic Auckland Islands in 1991.
We are very excited to have two Bill Hammond reproduction art prints available at last. They are printed in Christchurch by award winning printers Spectrum Print and the colour fidelity of the prints has been personally checked by the artist. These new prints are guaranteed to give all our customers who appreciate the art of Bill Hammond many years of enjoyment.
